Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! At the January 11th Board of Supervisors, I was selected as Vice Chairman, and Supervisor Lloyd Pareira was chosen as Chairman. We each will serve one year in these respective leadership roles. We also formally welcome our new County CEO – Raul Mendez. Raul comes to Merced County with significant experience and a great enthusiasm. I will be providing Raul a District 5 tour shortly and I am looking forward to him visiting the Westside, aka the “Best Side.” There are a number of events coming up, so I encourage you to scroll down and register early.

STATE OF DISTRICT 5 – January 25, 2022

On Tuesday, January 25th, I am hosting a virtual State of District 5. The online Zoom event will begin at 6:00 p.m. Registration is required and can be accessed online.

Registered participants will receive the Zoom link prior to the meeting. I will have someone available to translate questions, however, the event will be in English. This is not a Merced County event. I am hosting this meeting because it is important to let you know how the Westside is doing and share what we have accomplished.
