District 5 Updates – December 2021

The West Side is the Best Side

Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! Happy Holidays!
Brooke, Deven, Makenna and I wish you the best this holiday season and truly hope 2022 is a much better year. For so many, this year has been difficult, our family included. We are resilient, and it is our community that makes the West Side the Best Side and I am proud to call District 5 home.
COFFEE TALK IS BACK
Beginning Saturday, January 8th, my Coffee Talks are back! Please join me at 9:00 am on Saturday, January 8th at Eddie’s Café, 401 West Pacheco Blvd, Los Banos. Bring your questions or concerns and I will buy the coffee.

REDISTRICTING
On December 7th, 2021, the Merced County Board of Supervisors approved the final redistricting maps. Based on revised criteria, the large amount of growth, as well as State and Federal requirements, District 5 will look different. One big change is that Guistine and Santa Nella are now part of District 4. I’m disappointed to be losing these communities however, I will always fight for their interests.
